From the brass inlays in the exposed aggregate decorative concrete floor, to the custom cabinets with antique mirrors, to the repurposing of tight-grain heart of pine flooring, not a detail was forgotten in the design of 419 Carondelet located in the heart of the New Orleans’ warehouse district.
This historic building was originally constructed pre-Civil War, in 1858, by a free person of color. The building then underwent a major renovation in the 1920s. As an homage to the 20s, the beautiful renovation of 419 is a modern take on the art deco-style.
